The Agafay Desert is located just an hour drive from the lively souks and dizzying maze-like market streets of Marrakech. Nestled between city and mountains lies the Agafay Desert, a wild, stony and barren landscape of light-hued rocks their color perhaps the reason for the desert’s name resembling the local Berber word for “milk”.
